A Wednesday morning single vehicle rollover crash near Stuart results in minor injuries.

Iowa State Patrol District 4 Resource Officer Shelby McCreedy says 22-year-old Jeffery Kempf of Harrison, Ohio was traveling east on Interstate-80 at mile marker 91, near Stuart at 7:35am. Kempf admitted to falling asleep and failed to navigate the curve, as the semi-tractor trailer that he was driving slid onto its side and entered the median, where it slid several feet and caused property damage to the guardrail posts. 

Trooper McCreedy tells Raccoon Valley Radio Kempf suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Stuart Fire and Rescue and the Iowa Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
