Monday, June 28th

7:46am: Tom Kennedy reported a truck camper was parked near the dugouts at the Jefferson Softball Complex in the 900 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The vehicle was plugged into an electrical outlet at the complex. The officer spoke to the male subject from Texas and advised him he could not camp there. He left the area.

12:43pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call at the Park Avenue South Condo Complex.

12:51pm: Heather Swanson reported the Theft of credits on a slot machine at 777 Wild Rose Lane. She had leaned a chair against her machine and left for several minutes. Someone came along and put credits in the machine and played out the credits, including hers. The officer is investigating.

2:53pm: A caller advised of a vehicle playing extremely loud music in the 600 Block of South Olive Street. The officer located the parked, empty vehicle, with no music playing in the area.

3:24pm: A caller advised of two vehicles parked at Henderson Park, and the caller advised they were smoking marijuana. The officer located the two vehicles and spoke to two male subjects. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Carter Eugene Fetters, 70 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Controlled Substance -3rd Subsequent/ marijuana – Aggravated, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”

8:31pm: Grand Junction Rescue requested assistance for Traffic Control at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets. They were going to ER with an emergent patient. The officer closed the intersection for the ambulance to pass.

10:45pm: Sandy Groves reported her dog had escaped the fenced area at her residence. The officer and Groves were searching for the animal, but did not locate the dog.

Tuesday, June 29th

12:38am: An officer located an Open Garage Door at 1000 West Washington Street. The door was secured by the officer.

8:15am: Tosha Hickman reported an Unwanted Male at her residence at 107 East Vest Street. The officers determined the male did not have a legal right to be present at the house and he left on his own free will.

10:18am: An officer spoke with a resident in the 200 Block of East Clark Street about t trailer parked on the street. The trailer was later removed.

11:12am: Pat Smith reported receiving a threatening e-mail advising her computer had been hacked. The officer is investigating.

2:41pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver on 220 th Street approaching Jefferson. The officers did not locate the vehicle.

4:51pm: A Traffic Stop in the 800 Block of East Lincoln Way resulted in Martin Torres of Perry being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Excessive Speed.”

4:55pm: Jeremy Kelly reported a male had been standing in the 200 Block of East Lincoln Way for several hours. The officer was busy on other calls and was not able to respond until later. The subject had left.

5:20pm: Danny Scheffers requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 500 Block of South Vine Street. Officer determined the subject was home and fine.

5:32pm: Officers were called back to 107 East Vest Street as the unwanted Male had returned. Officers spoke to the male, and he left with instructions to contact an attorney about the Civil Child Custody Issue.

5:34pm: Regan Williams reported a vehicle blocking the alley in the 900 Block of West State Street. The vehicle had left before the officer arrived.

6:13pm: Brittany Smith reported two fox in a fenced area on West Wall Street, near the Greene County Secondary Roads Shop.

6:43pm: A caller reported fireworks being set off at 607 West South Street. The officer spoke to the resident and advised City Ordinance prohibits fireworks within the city limits without a permit.

7:34pm: A caller advised of someone burning tires near Chestnut and Park Streets. The officer located a subject burning firewood in a fire pit in the area. Tires were not being burned.

8:11pm: An officer arrested a wanted female from her vehicle parked at 777 Wild Rose Lane. Heather Lorraine Swanson, 47 of Ogden, had an outstanding Boone County Arrest Warrant for, “Possession of Offensive Weapon by Felon.” She was taken to the LEC to be transferred to Boone County.

8:12pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 800 Block of West Monroe Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

9:48pm: Officers were called to the 300 Block of East Lincoln Way Street for an argument occurring in the area. The officer spoke to both sides of the issue and advised each to leave the other alone and separated everyone.
