For those looking for activities to take part in during the Fourth of July holiday, there will be plenty happening in Yale. 

The holiday will kick off on Saturday with the 7th Annual Three on the 3rd 5k Fun Run/Walk at 8 a.m. and finish with a street dance featuring Rukkus running from 8 p.m. to midnight. Sunday will feature parade registration from 9-10:30 a.m. with the parade starting at 11 a.m.

Following the parade the horse show will begin at noon as well as the car show beginning at noon and running until 2 p.m. There will also be other activities including face painting, water fights, cornhole tournament and a cake walk throughout the day. 

The fireworks sponsored by the City of Yale, Farmers State Bank and Yale Community Club will end the day beginning at dusk.
