Three wins in a row for a high school baseball team may be modest, but when your record is 5-12, three in a row is pretty good. That’s the case for Coach Matt Paulsen’s Rams as they enter this week, a light week by high school baseball standards with a trip to north of Farnhamville on Tuesday and one to Nevada on Wednesday. Between June 24, 28, and 29, 2019, the Rams won games from Nevada, Saydel, and Panorama. Not until the current streak had the program seen three consecutive victories.

The Rams and Jaguars haven’t met this season and Greene County already owns a 9-2 victory over Nevada. The latest win for the Rams was in Perry on Friday night when they used a five-run seventh to win by 10 runs, 13-3 over the Blue Jays, who are without a victory entering this week.
