William Verdoorn, Des Moines, was driving in the 17000 block of Hwy 141 when he entered the westbound lanes while driving eastbound.  When another vehicle approached, he took evasive action, entering the ditch.  When he did so, he rolled the vehicle.  He declined treatment after being evaluated at the scene by EMT.  The vehicle sustained approximately $15000 damage and was towed from the scene.  Mr. Verdoorn was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.

Ryan Zeroni, age 44, 1291 E Bell Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Possession Of Contraband In Correctional Institution.

Edward Miller, age 35, 31635 Ashworth Road, Waukee, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault, Possession Of Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment – Bodily Injury

Carl D. Kite, age 44, 70 Thayer St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 3^rd Degree.

June 26

Garrett Riley, age 29, 2572 213 Trail, Lakeside, NE, was arrested on a warrant for Fraudulent Practice 2^nd Degree.

Shelby Huebert, Denison, was driving eastbound in the 19000 block of Hwy 141 when she hit a deer.  Damage was estimated at $1500.  There were no injuries reported and she was able to drive from the scene.

June 27

Bryan Searcy, age 50, 306 Kellogg Ave, Dallas Center, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Speeding and Open Container.

Jereamy Rice, age 43, 307 SW 7^th St, Stuart, was arrested for Driving While Barred.

Deng Deng, age 34, 402 E. Boone, Marshalltown, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear. The original charge was Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Dale E. Creech, age 70, 1004 Laurel, Dallas Center, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Joseph M. Staley, age 22, 411 S. Hazel St, Van Meter, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Adam Ohrt, West Des Moines, was driving in the 12000 block of Hwy 169 when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $7000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

June 28

Roberta Carpenter, Bridgewater, was driving in the 29000 block of El Paso Ave when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.  The owner arranged for a private tow of the vehicle.
