There are several basketball camps coming up this summer with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

One of the camps is for kindergarteners through second graders that will be held June 29th-July 1st from 1-2pm at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. Greene County High School Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach Tori Ogden will lead the camp with a cost of $15 for community center members and $20 for non-members. The program will teach kids the fundamentals of the sport.

A skills and competition camp for fourth through sixth graders will be held July 5th-7th from 9am-noon at the community center. The organization, Play 4 Him, will run the camp with a cost of $60, which includes a t-shirt. Deadline to sign up is July 2nd.

The final camp is for those going into seventh and eighth grade that will also be a skills and competition program, led by Play 4 Him. The camp will be from July 12th-14th from 9am-noon at the community center with a cost of $60, which also includes a t-shirt. Deadline to register is July 9th.
