WCV baseball had a long night Wednesday. They were up against an impressive Interstate 35 team.

The Wildcats had a very tough opponent in the Roadrunners. They had 12 wins coming into the matchup. WCV shocked Interstate 35 with an impressive 1st inning. The Wildcats managed to get six runs and take a 6-0 lead after one. The Roadrunners would respond by scoring 10 runs in the 2nd and 12 runs in the 3rd. They would hold WCV to only one more run and come away with a 22-7 win.

The second game was very similar to the first. Interstate 35 started this game with 3 runs in the 1st inning. They would win this one 18-3 to take both double header games.

The Wildcats will be back on the diamond again to take on Des Moines Christian. First pitch is at 5pm in Stuart.
