A Grand Junction man was arrested for alleged sex abuse.
According to court documents, 44-year-old Raymond Bacon was arrested on Tuesday and charged with a Class C Felony for third degree sexual abuse. The charge stems from an investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office that began on June 4th.
Court documents show that the victim told authorities that Bacon commited sex acts after she fell asleep from medications she was taking due to health-related issues. The deputy reviewed video evidence that the victim had collected that supported the victim’s claims. The deputy also interviewed Bacon and concluded he had commited sex acts without the victim’s consent.
Bacon was booked into the Greene County Jail and was later released after posting a $10,000 bond. The presiding judge also installed a no contact order between Bacon and the victim.
