For those wanting to find a fun activity to take part in this weekend, there will be an event at the Stuart Public Library.
The Stuart Public Library has teamed up with Guthrie County ISU Extension for a Mini Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fest on Saturday. Guthrie County Extension Programs Assistant Sara Pauley says STEM Fest will be full of fun activities that will be free and open for all ages.
“It is free to come out, there are going to be activities that the kids can make, and things that they can take home with them, and we will definitely be there to answer questions. It’s going to be a lot of fun, it’s very interactive. Definitely keep the kids busy, give them something to do for the afternoon.”
Additionally, Pauley says there will be another date for this event on July 17th and the activities will be different for each, so she encourages people to come out to both.
The Mini STEM Fest will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Stuart Library and then again from 10 a.m. to noon on July 17th. There is no registration necessary.
