It’s Greene County and PCM in high school baseball and softball tonight. The Rams will be on the road for the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference action. Baseball is in Prairie City and softball is a bit farther east in Monroe.

The Greene County teams both have 12 losses this season. Softball under the direction of head coach Tom Kennedy is 4-12 and Matt Paulsen’s baseball Rams are 2-12. Softball hasn’t played since last Wednesday when they won 6-5 in Jewell vs. South Hamilton. Baseball dropped two games on Saturday to Van Meter and Saydel in Des Moines at the Saydel tournament and it’s five losses in a row for the baseball Rams. PCM won both the softball and baseball games in Jefferson earlier this season.
