Fire crews responded to a fire north of Stuart Saturday.

According to the Stuart Fire Department, the Stuart and Redfield fire departments, along with Stuart Rescue and the Stuart Police Department, responded to the scene of a corn crib fire at 3230 272nd Lane at 6:05pm Saturday. When fire crews arrived on scene, the corn crib was fully engulfed in flames, along with a boat and a grain bin. Fire crews were able to knock down and extinguish the flames before it could spread to other nearby property.
