The Carlisle Wildcats welcomed in a new era of baseball by turning on the lights for the first time Wednesday night. The Wildcats celebrated with a 15-0 victory over Perry in Raccoon River Conference action. The evening marked the first time that Carlisle used their brand new lighting system. The Wildcats did not have lights in the past and celebrated the first true night of evening baseball in Carlisle. The event drew all three Des Moines television stations to cover the event. Carter Iben paced the Perry offense with two of the Bluejay five team hits. Official stats are posted below.
