A grand re-opening event is planned for a business in Jefferson for later this week.

Cobblestone Hotel and Suites, which is attached to Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson, is having a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Friday from noon-2pm. The hotel suddenly closed following the derecho storm this past August. General Manager Amber Ricci previously told Raccoon Valley Radio the storm caused damage to 55 of the 73 rooms, along with the main entrance and conference/kitchen area. 

The hotel has been open since March 15th. During the grand re-opening event, there will be free refreshments, tours and drawings. The event is free and open to the public.
