The Perry School Board approved a contract with 21st Century Rehabilitation for sports medicine services at their regular meeting Monday.

The contract allows for an athletic trainer/physical therapist for one to two nights a week during practice time to evaluate any injuries or consult with coaches as well as coverage for all home and away regular season varsity football, wrestling and basketball games.

Also, the Board approved revisions of board policies, summer paint crew hourly rates, Perry’s Academic, Cultural, and Enrichment Services (PACES) hourly rates for summer 2021, summer food service hourly rates and personnel changes.

Finally, the Board approved 28E agreements between Perry Schools and St. Patrick’s and the Perry Area Child Development Center for universal preschool and the district’s intent to participate in a mentoring and induction program.
