COVID-19 tests have risen exponentially over the course of the past year for the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area. 

According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard, as of Monday, Dallas County has 12,627 positive tests, up from 1,026 this time last year, and 99 deaths, which is up from 26 this time last year. Adair County has 993 positive tests, up from just 11 last year and 32 deaths, which the county had zero at this time last year. Guthrie County has 1,312 positive tests, up from 59, and 32 deaths up from four last year. Greene County has 870 positive tests, up from 21 this time last year, and 11 deaths, which the county had zero this time last year. 

As of Monday, statewide, there are 403,180 positive tests, up from 24,046 this time last year, and 6,102 deaths up from 653 this time last year. 

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers hospital data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 21 hospitalized patients, 2 in intensive care units and 6 admitted in the last 24 hours.
