It’s Greene County and Roland-Story (Story City) in high school baseball and softball tonight. The baseball is in Jefferson at Allensworth field on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com at 7:30 p.m.  Air time is set for shortly after 7 p.m. The softball is a varsity doubleheader in Roland.

Greene County is 3-9 in softball while R-S is ranked number 7 in Class  3A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Association. Coach Tom Kennedy’s team will try to get back into the win column after being shy out 3-0 at Saydel in Des Moines last Friday.

Coach Matt Paulsen’s baseball Rams lost at Saydel 4-1 to fall to 2-8 on the season. The Norsemen are ranked number 2 in Class 2A by the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association. R-S won the first meeting this season by a final of 8-0 in Story City.
