Today is the final day of the Heart of Guthrie County Garage Sale event.

Residents and businesses in Guthrie Center and Panora are participating, with several locations throughout the communities. Panora Chamber Board First Vice President Kristin Rummelhart invites everyone to check out their monthly shop local event as well, with a “Summer Kick Off” event.

“Wherever you’re shopping at there’s going to be summer drinks and summer food. Father’s Day is coming up. Between summer decor and getting your house, and your yard decorated, you can also be on the lookout for awesome gifts for your dad.”

A reminder that the garage sale is from 8am-3pm today. When the event is over, those individuals who still have items they don’t want to keep, those can be given to the Salvation Army. A donation truck will be at the Guthrie County State Bank parking lot in Guthrie Center and at Lakeside Village in Panora. Gently used items will be accepted from 3-5pm.
