The Panora Square Friday Flea and Farmers Market is underway for the season.

The weekly event is held on Fridays from 4:30-6:30pm on the southwest corner of the square. The number of vendors vary between 6 and 12 and on occasion there is live musical entertainment. Items that are sold at the market include fresh, locally grown produce; homemade baked goods such as cookies, pies and breads; along with crafts, jewelry, soaps, plants and flowers.

The Panora Farmers Market is also a certified market which means they will accept farmers market checks from senior citizens and the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program. There is a small fee for those looking to be a vendor, and they follow the guidelines from the Iowa Department of Land Stewardship. The Square Friday Flea and Farmers Markets runs through September 17th.
