Tuesday, June 8th

12:02am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Doreen Wilbur Drive resulted in Kayce Coyle of Jeferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

6:32am: Several callers advised of a Barking Dog at 305 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer spoke to the animal’s owner by phone and advised him of the issue. The owner advised he would fix the problem.

8:00am: Gordon Herridge spoke to an officer concerning a Civil Issue with a family member.

9:41am: The Redwood Motel requested an officer at 209 East Gallop Road for a subject who would not answer the door at Checkout Time. The officer was able to make contact with the subject, who gathered his belongings and checked out.

11:55am: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 608 South Chestnut Street.

1:04pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call at 777 Wild Rose Lane.

3:13pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident in the private parking lot at 1409 North Elm Street. A 2103 Toyota Prius, owned and operated by Christopher Sheldon of Ames, was backing from a parking spot and struck a passing vehicle. The 2012 Chevrolet Impala was owned and operated by Blaine Robinson of Jefferson and was struck in the side as it passed the backing vehicle. Both vehicles had a reported $1500.00 each in damages.

3:14pm: Oly’s Corner reported a subject had left without paying for $13.08 in fuel. The clerk provided the officer with plate information for the vehicle. The officer later spoke to the driver, who advised it was accidental and she went to Oly’s and paid for the fuel.

4:24pm: An officer arrested Nicole Terese Borkowski, 36 of Jefferson at 402 West Head Street. She had an Arrest Warrant for, “Failure to Appear” on an original charge of “Child Endangerment.”
