The Greene County High School softball and baseball teams are on the road tonight. Coach Tom Kennedy’s softball team is 1-7 and they play at Perry tonight on KG98, KDLS, and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. They Jayettes were 1-7 prior to playing at Gilbert on Monday night. Both picked up win number one recently with the Rams winning game two a doubleheader on Friday night at West Marshall and Perry getting in the win column vs. Baxter on Saturday at Perry’s tournament.

Winterset is 6-2 in baseball and winners of five straight. The Rams will look to upset a second straight team after upending Algona on Saturday in the Boone Tournament 7-6 in 11 innings. The Bulldogs entered the game with a 5-1 record while the Rams were 0-6 at the time.
