The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Monday.

During open forum, Environmental Administrator Chuck Wenthold told the Board about an amendment to a hog confinement for a master matrix review. He said the confinement was sold to a new owner from Eric Crystal and because of that, the new owner made some changes that also changed the points on the master matrix. The Board agreed to do the review of the matrix on June 21st and hold the public hearing on June 28th.

The Board then approved the County Recorder’s report of fees for May of $15,587, a Mahanay Maestro nomination for Jana Taylor, who was also appointed to life; and a letter of support on behalf of the Paton Park Committee to apply for an Aureon grant to complete a park improvement project. The Board approved the letter of support, contingent upon the official letter being submitted to County Auditor Jane Heun for final approval.
