The Adel Aquatic Center has officially opened for the season for people to have a place to get away from the heat and have fun. 

The swimming pool  officially opened for the season at the end of last month and offers a variety of services including season passes from $85 for a single in the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District and $170 for a family. The rates for those outside of the school district are $105 for a single seasonal pass and $210 for a family.

There are also group, private and parent-tot swim lessons for all ages and abilities. The aquatic center is open daily from 12:30-8 p.m. except for Saturday where it is only open from 12:30-6 p.m.
