Towards the end of the school year for the Paton-Churdan School District is an annual event that recognizes students and their accomplishments.
The Academic Achievement Breakfast was held on May 24th in the school’s cafeteria. High school freshmen through juniors that had a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher were invited to a recognition event and enjoyed a free breakfast. School counselor Libby Towers expressed how happy they were to celebrate the 23 students that participated in the event and recognize their hard work academically throughout the school year.
The event was sponsored by Sparky’s, Fareway and Hy-Vee.
