Guthrie County 4-H’ers will have an opportunity to learn about different soils among other things at an event later this month.
New 4-H members are encouraged to participate in a garden box workshop at 1 p.m. June 20th and 2 p.m. June 20th for existing 4-H members at the Panorama Gardens in Panora. There is a $10 fee to attend and should be made payable to Panorama Gardens.
The workshop will give 4-H’ers a 2×2 box and teach them about different soils and germination patterns. The boxes will then be brought to the Guthrie County Fair to be judged on September 20th. For more information and to register you can go here.
