The Iowa Department of Natural Resources free fishing weekend is still ongoing, and the Dallas County Conservation Board is looking to help out. 

People can register for times of 4:45-5:45 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. today and tomorrow to be met by a naturalist from the Dallas County Conservation Board with rods, reels and bait at Glissman Nature Area to help people with fishing. Also, during the free fishing weekend you do not need to have a valid fishing license. 

Dallas County Conservation encourages fishing at Glissman Nature Area outside of the free weekend but you would need to have a license and naturalists would not be on hand to help out. Signup is limited to one family per slot and to sign up for a time you can go here
