The deadline to be a sponsor for this year’s Greene County Medical Center Foundation Golf Tournament is today.

The event will take place on Friday, June 18th at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. Foundation Director Nancy Houska says there are several different levels of sponsorships available, including major sponsors, which is a clubhouse sponsor, t-shirt sponsor and a mulligan sponsor. Houska points out there are beverage and golf cart sponsorships, along with flight and prize winner sponsorships available. She explains what is included when an individual or a company is a major sponsor.

“Our major sponsors, they get a little bit more recognition during our awards night. We’ll do an ad to thank everybody afterwards and recognition in our program and items like that. So we are very thankful to have the major sponsors that we do.”  

Houska notes, there’s still time to sign up a team and be included with other sponsorship opportunities, which some include the four-team registration, along with lunch and dinner. Those levels range from Hole-In-One to Birdie. She says there are 19 registered teams so far, with 24 being the maximum allowed. All proceeds will go to the Foundation for supplemental funds for the medical center.
