Guthrie County Extension and Outreach will be putting on a fun summer event for the public to take part in soon.
A tourism event called Wild Things in Guthrie County will run from June 10th to July 8th and includes exploring five locations in Guthrie County. The coordinates will be provided and participants will need to go find the location.
After finding the designated places those participating will find a QR code that will link to a YouTube video to give history on the location. Participants can take a photo of each site and be entered into a prize drawing by posting it to Facebook and tagging Guthrie County Extension and #GuthrieCountyWildThings.
If you post entries at all five locations you get five extra entries in the prize drawing and all entries are due by July 8th. For any questions you can contact the extension office at 641-747-2276. The link to more information can be found here.
