Greene County plays high school softball and baseball tonight in State Center vs. the West Marshall Trojans. The varsity softball game can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with first pitch around 7:30 p.m. Both Greene County teams are looking for the first victories of the season as both are 0-4.
The baseball Rams have been shut out in all three Heart of Iowa Activities Conference games, losing to Roland-Story, South Hamilton, and PCM (Monroe). W. Marshall was 5-3 overall entering a non-conference game Thursday, and enters tonight with a 2-0 conference record.
The softball Trojans are 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference. The Rams have scored a total of four runs in four games and have been shut out twice.
