A traditional weekend event in Panora makes its return tomorrow on the town square.

The Art in the Village Square event will take place tomorrow with local and state-wide artists, along with food options and live musical entertainment. Panora Chamber Board First Vice President Kristin Rummelhart explains why the organizers wanted to move the event from the Historical Village in Panora to the town’s square.

“Last year with the pandemic happening, they still wanted to give an opportunity for people to get out and socialize a little bit. They ended up moving everything kind of outside and across the square where there would be a little more visibility.”

Rummelhart describes a grand opening for a new business in town that will also take place tomorrow.

“Restyle Decor & Consigned Furniture, that is being run by Carol VanKirk and Julie Fulton. They are located at 102 Southeast 13th Street. The grand opening is from 9(am) to 12(pm) Saturday. To celebrate their grand opening, they will be offering ten-percent off in the store that day.”

Rummelhart encourages everyone to participate in the Art in the Village Square, as well as the grand opening of a new business in Panora tomorrow.
