ADM Tigers Girls soccer competed on Wednesday night in their substate semifinal against Winterset, and the Huskies were able to put together a dynamic second half with five unanswered goals in the frame to stun the Tigers with a 5-2 victory.
ADM was able to strike in the first half thanks to a goal from Ashlyn Watt to take a 1-0 lead into the locker room. ADM would strike early in the second half, with Hallie Henfling finding the back of the net to take a 2-0. Winterset would then counter as they were able to put up three goals in a five minute span, and take hold of the game as they were able to add some insurance late in the contest, doing plenty to make it to the substate final.
The Tigers end their season at 11-6 and will be graduating four seniors from their roster in Ashlyn Watt, Abby Gonzalez, Julia Case, and Julia Flora. The Tigers will be returning some good talent for next years team, as they will be looking for a great record once again.
