Betty Seley, 97, of Greenfield passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the Mercy Hospice House in Johnston.

Private Family Services:  Will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery.  Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. The Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com. 

Open Visitation:  Will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Family Visitation:  The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield.

 Memorials:  Memorials may be directed to Betty Seley Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Survivors:     Betty is survived by her three children, Virginia (Jake) Hitt of Greenfield, Linda Hess of Waukee and Chuck Seley of Urbandale, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Debra Lundy, Cynthia (David) Hennigar, Brian (Christy) Lundy, Jay (Eva) Hess and Laura Hess, Michael (Janelle) Hitt and James Hitt; twelve great grandchildren, Tori (Randy) Randall, Beth, Ted (Tawnee) Lundy, Cami Edwards, Jessica and Tyler Hennigar, Maddison Hess, Vegas Johnston, Ronyn Johnston, Alison, Mackenzie and Andrew Hitt; two sisters, Jacqueline Cox of Dunlap, Illinois and Judy (Steve) Bell of Morton, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Elaine Craig of Peoria Illinois and Charlotte Craig of Foley, Alabama; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
