There’s high school soccer today on all three Raccoon Valley Radio Stations from the Cownie Soccer Complex on the southeast side of Des Moines.

It’s day one of the three class tournament and the Greene County Rams are the first of three area teams in action on the air today. Coach Carl Behne’s team meets Regina Catholic of Iowa City at 12:10 p.m. in a Class 1A quarterfinal. The Rams are 14-6 and the Regals are 11-7. They met in early May at the Nevada Tournament with Regina winning 1-0 on a goal late in regulation. Air time today is 11:50 a.m. on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

ADM plays Pella on KKRF 107.9 FM at 2:40 p.m. on the same field Greene County and Regina play on. At 3 p.m., it’s Dallas Center-Grimes and Waverly-Shell Rock on KDLS 1310 AM/99,7 FM. Both of those contests are 2A quarterfinals. Those will also be streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

Semifinals in all three classes are this Thursday with the Championship games on Saturday.
