As more COVID-19 restrictions continue to be lifted and mitigation guidelines are relaxed, one thing that remains the same is a shortage of employees coming back to work.

Panora Chamber Board  First Vice President Kristin Rummelhart says as more people come back into their local businesses, more employees are needed.

“All employers are looking for additional help. We’ve had to have a couple of businesses cut hours and I know some of us who wanted to get back to regular hours, or even extended hours, or extended days. It’s hard to do that with limited staff.”

She encourages anyone who wants a job can find one and it will help to keep the business and retail community in Panora thriving, even after a pandemic.
