ADM Tigers girls golf will be playing in their final home meet of the 2021 season this next couple of days, but the stakes will be higher starting this morning when they play in the state golf tournament at River Valley Golf Course in Adel.
The Tigers were able to qualify in Atlantic after grabbing a 2nd place finish in their districts, firing a 381. Improvement has been shown by the Tigers throughout the entire season, as they were able to see better numbers across the board week after week, and were firing their best rounds of the year during that district meet. The Tigers were also able to grab a couple of individual top 5 rounds in Emma Mellencamp and Monica Thomas, as they both fired 92s. Weather conditions should be decent for the round today, as the Tigers will be on the hunt for good numbers.
Tee times will get going this morning at 9 a.m. in a shotgun start, as the Tigers will be looking to put together a solid first day against some of the states best in 3A competition.
