The start of 2021 season hasn’t been ideal for the Wildcats. Their first game of the season was scheduled for Tuesday May 25, but was cancelled. So, the Wildcats didn’t officially start the season until Thursday May 27th. They went up against Interstate 35 at home in a double-header. WCV lost both games. A very strong offensive performance in the 7th lifted Interstate 35 past the Wildcats 21-3.

WCV quickly followed that game with another home game against Southeast Valley. WCV managed to double the amount of runs they had in their first game. Unfortunately Southeast Valley also had a tremendous offensive output. The Jaguars won 14-6.

The Wildcats will hope to turn things around and continue their season Wednesday. They’ll be back at home to take on the Southwest Valley Timberwolves. First pitch is at 5:30PM.
