As the landscape of the coronavirus pandemic continues to change, more normal activities are starting to return.
The Perry Farmer’s Market and Friday Fest kick off this week with the Perry Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says people seem to be ready to get back to normal Chamber activities.
“As far as having things to do for kids, family-friendly, getting out and about last year we saw such a great response with the farmer’s market so there was no hesitation in that regard to continue to move forward with that because it serves so many purposes for our community.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio she is excited to bring back some of the other events this year while also being aware of people’s different comfort levels with the pandemic.
“We are getting back onto a more normal pace but still taking it easy in some regard and being mindful of quite the range where people are comfort level-wise, health-wise.”
The first day of the Perry Farmer’s Market is this Thursday, followed by the first Friday Fest the next day.
