The Dallas Center-Grimes High School Girls Golf Team punched their ticket to state after coming in second at the district meet this last week. 

The Mustangs came in second place with a team score of 380 with West Des Moines Valley taking first place with a team score of 308. The Mustangs beat out Johnston by 11 strokes to advance to the state tournament, which will be held this week. 

The Mustang girls will head to Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny for the two-day golf tournament June 1st-2nd for the Class 4A Girls State Championship.
