As the Let’s Connect Project with the Raccoon River Valley Trail and High Trestle Trail continues, more grant funding is coming in. 

It was recently announced that ITC Midwest awarded a grant of $5,000 to support recreational opportunities and tourism to the Raccoon River Valley Trail and High Trestle Trail Connector Project with the Dallas County Conservation Board. 

The Let’s Connect Project aims to create a multi-use paved trail that stretches from Perry through Bouton and on to Woodward. The project consists of multiple phases and Dallas County Conservation announced another two phases will take place this summer, which includes one mile west from Woodward and going east from Perry up to M Avenue.
