The Guthrie Center city-wide cleanup day will be taking place next month and in  support of the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center baseball team. 

The event will take place on June 16th and all items must be on the curb by 8 a.m. with wood and metal separated and appliances must be empty and upright. Hazardous chemicals or paint, yard-waste, garbage or recycling, printers or scanners will not be accepted. 

You must prepay a minimum of $20 and have your name on the list at City Hall by noon on June 14th. Some items need a tag including tires and rims, televisions and monitors and any item that has had or has freon inside.

All proceeds will go to the high school baseball team as well as money from the sale of metal. For more information on the citywide cleanup day and for tag prices you can contact Guthrie Center City Hall at 641-332-2190.
