The WCV baseball team will be starting the 2021 campaign today at 5PM. They’ll be playing against the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats.

WCV will have to lean on Seniors Third Baseman Anthony Smith, Left Fielder Brett Hazen, Second Baseman Aiden Byrnes, and Shortstop Owen Harwood for leadership. They’ll be the only seniors for the Wildcats. WCV is looking to improve on a disappointing 2020 season that left the Wildcats winless.

History is on the side of WCV in this series. WCV leads the series 8-6, their last win coming in 2018 (6-3). This is the first of a full slate games this week for WCV. They’ll be back at home to take on Ogden at 5:30PM tomorrow.
