Multiple organizations were on the receiving end of grants from the Dallas County Foundation this year.
The major funding recipients for the 2021 grant cycle included $3,696 for the Adel Elementary for a Storybook Walk, $1,500 for Perry Youth Football to update their helmets, and $1,341 for Raccoon River Pet Rescue for an electrocautery unit.
The Dallas County Foundation awarded $73,621, along with the continued financial contribution from Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation of $35,500, which gave the foundation a total of $108,971 in grants funds that were given away.
