A Jamaica man was recently sentenced to probation for a stalking incident.
According to court documents, 55-year-old Fredrick Williams pled guilty to a Class D Felony for stalking a person under the age of 18. He was sentenced to three years of probation and a no contact order with the victim is in place for five years.
The charge stemmed from an investigation by the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office had been investigating a potential ongoing sexual relationship with Williams and a 14-year-old female. Two incidents were reported to law enforcement during the week of June 14, 2020, where witnesses said Williams approached the minor in public. The victim told authorities she felt intimidated and afraid of Williams.
Williams was also ordered to pay a $90 stalking charge and as per the plea agreement, all other charges were dismissed.
