Greene County qualified eight events for boys and six for girls for the 2021 Coed State Track & Field Meet in Class 2A today through Saturday at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. The Rams have two boys’ events and one for girls in action today.

The Rams will have senior Brooklynn Olson in the girls’ shot put at 9 a.m. and junior boy Bryce Stalder in the long jump, also at 9 this morning. The only event on the track today for Greene County is the boys’ shuttle hurdle relay preliminary set for 2 o’clock this afternoon. Nathan Black, Stalder, Jaxon Warnke, and Jackson Morton enter with the second fastest qualifying time in 2A. The eight fastest times advance to Saturday’s final.

Paton-Churdan senior Danielle Hoyle is in the shot put for girls in Class 1A at 3:30 p.m.
