The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting for Raccoon River Pet Rescue this Friday. 

Raccoon River Pet Rescue will be celebrating its one year anniversary with a public event from 4-5 p.m. Friday as the coronavirus pandemic prevented them from having a ribbon cutting to celebrate their brand new building last year. 

Those who attend are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines while inside the building. There will be refreshments available and tours will be given by staff members. The event will be at 14360 Ivy Place in Perry. 

Friday’s event is free and open to the public.
