A benefit sale will take place this weekend to benefit a dog park construction project in Panora. 

The fundraiser, which will consist of donated items, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at J and J Storage in Panora. Funds from the sale will go to Friends of Lake Panorama for the dog park construction. 

The total goal for the project is $50,000 and so far donations have reached $37,000. The start of construction is anticipated to begin next spring.
