Friday, May 14th

8:05am Deputies assisted the Jefferson Fire Department with grain bin explosion at Landus Coop in the 1500 block of Mulberry Street.

12:05pm: Russell Lee Gardner (46) of Panora, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Contempt-Violation of No Contact/Protective Order and Violation – 2 counts.

2:03pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the area of X Avenue and 110th Street.

4:24pm: A deputy assisted with a welfare check in the 300 block of 19th Street South in Grand Junction.

6:03pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of Jay Street in Churdan.

7:15pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident in the area of P Avenue and 252nd Street. Richard Dean Tuhn Jr. of Jefferson, was traveling eastbound on 252nd Street when he dropped his cell phone. He attempted to pick it up and found himself driving in the south ditch when it eventually rolled over on its passenger’s side. The deputy estimated the damage at approximately $6000 to repair the 2002 Ford F-150 pick-up. No injuries were reported. Driver handled the removal of the vehicle himself.

9:00pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a driver at a high rate of speed in the area of 220th Street and R Avenue.

Saturday, May 15th

2:17am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop in 220th Street and Grimmill Road.

8:45am: Kandice Maree Kirkpatrick (46) of Omaha, NE, was booked into the Greene County Jail to serve time for a Mittimus Warrant.

11:49am: A deputy invested a criminal mischief complaint in the area of 220th Street and Hillcrest Avenue.

3:10pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call in the area of B Avenue and 300th Street.

6:28pm: The Sheriff and deputies assisted with a flare up of the Landus Coop building on the 1500 block of Mulberry Street.

Sunday, May 16th

11:55am: Deputies investigated a tractor/trailer with an unsecure load complaint in 220th Street that was eastbound from Carroll County.

2:40pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle complaint in Grand Junction.

6:29am: Noah Adam Bowen (20) of Jefferson, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance – marijuana 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

7:20pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the area of 310th Street and D Avenue.

11:23pm: Marcia Kay Lowe (58) of Des Moines, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd or Subsequent Offense.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
