Dallas Center – Grimes boys golf competed in their sectional meet, and were able to put together a strong performance, as their team was able to put up a 2nd place performance, putting up a team score of 322, which was a season best for a 18 hole team score. The round was played at the Ames Golf and Country Club. Gilbert was able to grab a first place mark of 301.

The Mustangs were able to put together some great individual performances all around, as Blake Perrin was able to grab a runner up performance and a score of 74. Zach Ross was able to put together a 78, Alex Thomas was able to grab a 83, and Brock Junge was able to grab a 87.

The Mustangs were going to be playing their next round at Waverly – Shell Rock at the district tournament, as the Mustangs will be hoping to advance their team to the state level this upcoming Friday.
