Tuesday, May 11th

1:31am: An officer performed a Traffic Stop with a speeding vehicle on 220th Street, near Flack Ave. During the interaction with the driver, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a Probable Cause Search of the vehicle, the officer located suspected marijuana wax and a smoking device. The officer issued Noah Adam Bowen, 20 of Jefferson, a Citation for Excessive Speed. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for, “Possession of Controlled Substance-marijuana 1st Offense – Serious and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”

11:19am: Bill Richardson reported a known male was stealing items from his residence at 304 North Chestnut Street. The subject had left before the officers arrived. Richardson was not supportive of criminal charges at this time.

11:35am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

4:59pm: Jasmine Fluker reported the Theft of a TV and other items from 205 North Locust Street. The officer is investigating.

6:03pm: Ashley Jones reported a neighbor burning a couch in his yard at 100 East Central Ave. The officer spoke to the subject and advised he could only burn yard waste, per city ordinance. The couch had already burned.

6:34pm: Amy Baugh reported Harassment from a neighbor in the 300 Block of East Lincon Way Street. The officer is investigating.

7:50pm: A Traffic Stop at Lincoln Way and Locust Streets resulted in Bradley Mason of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:24pm: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Christopher Lawrence of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
