The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday in regular session.
The Board approved a payroll change notice for Brent Corkins with Guthrie County Health Services Department as presented and set a public hearing date for the county’s budget amendment for the current fiscal year on May 25th at 10am. Additionally, the Board approved two change orders for the law enforcement center project with cell chase and ballistic glazing as presented, two liquor licenses for Twin Vines and Whimsical Wine Trailer and directed Supervisor Chair Mike Dickson to defend an unemployment claim against Pam Lane.
The Board then tabled a resolution to transfer $80,000 from the Guthrie County Law Enforcement Center Project Fund to the Guthrie County Facilities Fund, pending finalized language. They also approved a resolution to express intent to enter into a refunding loan agreement for $8.9 million in previous bonds, and decided to pay $80,000 of the principal on those bonds, while saving $70,000 to be reimbursement to give the county a cushion in its reserves.
The meeting then ended in a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
