The Perry City Council met in a special session Monday and set the time and date for a public hearing on entering into a sewer revenue loan.
The public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. May 17th in the Towncraft Building. The public hearing will be about the proposal to enter into a sewer revenue loan and disbursement agreement, and to borrow money in a principal amount not to exceed $28.9 million.
The money from this loan will be used for the wastewater treatment facility improvement project that was recently approved by the Council.
